Adam Rummel
Adam is married to a beautiful woman, Karen, and has two basset hound dogs, Tucker and Lucy. He has been working in construction his whole life, from site design and development to smaller scale work like home remodeling. He has a heart to serve the community of Charlotte and the surrounding area. Participating in outreach at his church and being co-founder of “The LOT Foundation” is just a couple of ways he serves his community. When Adam is not serving and helping others he is spending time with family and friends. He enjoys camping, boating, playing board and card games, and vacationing. One day Adam’s goal is to have served on every continent in the world.
Karen Rummel
Karen is happily married to Adam and resides in Matthews, NC. She is also the proud mama to the two sweetest Basset Hounds on the planet. She began her career in the Property Management industry and then moved on to owning her own construction and cleaning business with her husband. While working with the Outreach Team at her church, she felt called to start The LOT Foundation and is happy to be serving others. She remains active in the church and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Always up for a quick trip to the mountains or the beach, her Mother always said her middle name was “Go”. She is very blessed to be surrounded with the people God has placed in her life.
Tina Shaw
Tina is married to a handsome, God-loving man (her Angel Bug). She is also a proud mother of a teenage girl. She enjoys kids so much that she chooses to do it in her profession as a Registered Nurse for a pediatric clinic. She is very much involved in her church as a small group leader and doing outreach. She also has a heart for reaching out to teenage mothers, serving them through a local outreach organization. For fun, Tina loves couponing, shopping, vacationing (especially to exotic climates), and hanging out with her family and friends. Her dream is to retire early in life so that she may serve the least of these full-time. She will take her first international missions trip to Kenya soon, visiting her missionary friends, Sam and Hanna Kingsbury.
Brian Shaw
Brian is a husband to a beautiful wife, father to a wonderful daughter, and a Registered Nurse for an orthopedic practice. He serves through his church in various roles including as a Greeter and small group leader. He loves doing outreach projects with his immediate family and with his small group, who is like extended family. He believes that the Church is not operating at its full potential and therefore not as effective at meeting the needs of the community as it could be. Brian loves snow skiing, reading, and long walks off of short piers (oh, and he’s quite a comedian). His passion is for writing. He will one day author a best-selling book.
